Make your voice heard in Madison about issues impacting Door & Kewaunee Counties!
The deadline to submit your ideas for the 2019 Door/Kewaunee Legislative Days has been
extended to February 1.
Do you have an idea that needs to be addressed by the State Assembly that would improve the
quality of life, or resolve an issue that Kewaunee and Door Counties are facing? Then
please, take the survey for the 2019 Door/Kewaunee Counties Legislative Days and let your
voice be heard.
Issues for Legislative Days should be local, with specific implications for Kewaunee and/or Door Counties, should be non-controversial, and should be focused upon issues that exceed our local capacity to solve the challenge. All are welcome to submit issues for
consideration. The final selection of topics for 2019 Legislative Days will be made by the
Steering Committee. Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation is represented by boardmember, Kim Larson and Executive Director, Richard Baker.
Every two years, business owners, interested citizens, and local students make a trip to
Madison representing our region for Legislative Days. This program has helped call attentionto issues specifically impacting Door and Kewaunee Counties. This years event is
tentatively scheduled for April 3rd & 4th.
Legislative days has directly impacted important issues to Kewaunee and Door Counties.
The Kewaunee Harbor seawall replacement project, financed by a $4.2 million state grant, was one of the Legislative Days highlights in recent years.
