New North announced the completion of the Energy Market Capacity Study for the Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation and Progress Lakeshore.
This report was prepared as part of the regional action planning process following the closure of the Dominion Energy owned Kewaunee Power Station. Focus was placed on providing a comprehensive overview of national, state, and regional energy markets. Findings from this document will aid in regional planning to enhance the utilization of locally available energy resources such as bioenergy and wind.
New North will host a presentation covering key findings and discussion regarding optimal next steps for the region.
