Celebrate Kewaunee County’s local flavors and culinary expertise at the Sixth Annual Taste of the County on October 22nd at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in Luxemburg. Hosted by the Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation’s Buy Local Initiative and sponsored by WS Packaging Group, NE.W. Plastics, Quali T, Inc, Cumulus Broadcasting and many others; the Taste of the County features restaurants, caterers and beverage merchants throughout the county serving samples of their specialty cuisine and beverages.

“This year, we are excited to introduce a new format at a new venue. We have a record 27 food and beverage offerings, as well as a new Tasting Challenge. Attendees will  have an opportunity to vote on favorite dishes and beverages. Also, back by popular demand, a culinary demonstration by Chris Wiltfang of Skaliwags in Algoma.,” said Jennifer Brown, the Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation’s Executive Director.

To support your local business community, you can attend Taste of the County for $35 per person. You may also  donate cash or a prize for the popular bucket raffle. The Taste of the County will be held on October 22, 2014 at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds (625 Third St.) in Luxemburg  from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at your local Baylake Bank, Bank of Luxemburg and Union State Bank.
