Bank of Luxemburg has exciting news for all local businesses in Kewaunee County.  The bank has increased the dollar amount being allocated and has also expanded the availability of the revitalization loan fund to all businesses located in Kewaunee County.

The Revitalization Program was formed to assist business owners interested in enhancing the physical appearance and economic vitality of their businesses and commercial buildings within all of Kewaunee County. Long-term objectives of the program include physical improvements of buildings, landscaping and parking lots, plus increased pedestrian functionality.

Local communities are currently involved in activities to enhance local economic development.   Algoma is promoting its Main Street Program, Kewaunee is encouraging additional development with its harbor renovation and Luxemburg is completing improvements to Main Street. Outside of these communities there are numerous small businesses that could benefit from this program, from the Town of Carlton to the Town of Red River.

Loan amounts can vary from $5,000-$50,000 with a low fixed interest rate and special repayment terms based on the individual project needs. Eligible loan uses include facade improvements, pedestrian cover, historical preservation, structure renovations and accessibility improvements.
