Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation (KCEDC) is seeking an entrepreneurial, outgoing, dynamic person as Executive Director.  Kewaunee County is located on the peninsula between Green Bay and Lake Michigan, a beautiful tourist destination in Northeast Wisconsin.

The Executive Director will be leading the Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation (KCEDC), a non-profit business supported by joint public/private funding. The primary responsibility will be to promote, serve and support the community for business development, new business start-ups and other dedicated services that enhance and benefit the economic and community growth.

The ideal candidate will be innovative and possess superior relationship management skills; excellent interpersonal skills; sales and fundraising experience; exceptional written and verbal skills; proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Office applications; experience with database management and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in economics, urban planning, business, marketing, or another related field is required.  Preference will be giving to candidates that have proven project management; demonstration of leadership; and/or Certified in Professional Economic Development.
